How we handle enquiries and website usage information.
Information you choose to share
The assessment form asks for your name, work email, organization, site location and business priorities. Your entries remain in the current page until you choose to send a request. Please include only the information needed to start the conversation.
Sending your request
When you submit the form, we save your enquiry and consent in our Neon PostgreSQL database and use Resend to notify Skylock by email. If email delivery fails, the saved request remains available to our team. If submission cannot be confirmed, the form keeps your entries on the current page so you can try again. Skylock uses your enquiry to respond and discuss the services you requested.
Website operation
We use first-party usage analytics to understand which pages and calls to action are useful. We record page paths, link destinations, referring website domains, device size categories and successful form submission events in Neon. A random session identifier is stored in your browser’s session storage and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity or when that tab is closed. It is not linked to your enquiry.
Analytics events do not contain your name, email, form entries, full referring URLs or IP address. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can also disable usage analytics below.
This preference applies to this browser.
Protecting the service
For abuse prevention, we temporarily store a keyed, changing hash derived from the request’s IP address, separately from usage analytics. These rate-limit records are cleared by subsequent requests after two hours. Hosting and email providers may process technical information needed to operate their services. Your email service processes messages you send through it.
Questions about your information
Contact hello@skylock.io to ask about the information you have shared, or to request a correction or deletion. We will respond to your request and explain any applicable retention requirements.
